How do I show a 'please wait' message w/o an icon on the top until all the images and scripts are loaded in a web page? It's a static 1 page html with tons of images and jquery scripts. And I don't want the user to start scrolling until everything is loaded.

I just bought this (freakin' expensive!) domain learned.to out of utter curiosity . I was wondering what would be an interesting app/project on it. Would appreciate any ideas. (And would be wonderful if someone is willing to collaborate as well) Hint: I was thinking in the simple lines of "mark.learned.to/code" or "steve.learned.to/swim" where one can grab a subdomain and enter/track when someone learns something new.
This is a fun interview project I am working on. Honestly, this is my first hour at Forrst and I'm kinda trying it out.
About the project: It is a small project where me and a couple of friends are interviewing 1000 budding entrepreneurs worldwide. I'd appreciate any feedback on the colors and appropriateness of the search box.
