ABOUT ME

I am a PHP developer with experience in OOP, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SMARTY, CSS, HTML, Prototype, Scriptaculous, and jQuery.

My current job has me maintaining the dealuxe.ca website. Dealuxe is a Canadian clothes shopping site focused on selling Canadian brands to Canadian customers. I’ve only been there since August 2011, I don’t have anything to show for it yet.

Up until then, I was the Lead Developer at cSeven. There I spent most of my time building, perfecting and maintaining modules for MantisCMS. Some of these modules are (but not limited to): blogs, forms, events, contact managers, content managers, product managers, page creators, and all sorts of database driven systems. The Page Creator was one of the biggest challenges I've faced. You can see a small demos of the tools I built here.

Up until 2008, I worked for a non-for-profit called TakingITGlobal. My job evolved over the years, but the gist of it was to expand and grow their online community (before Facebook became a 'thing'), and making sure the website could run in 11 different languages (eleven!) among other things.
